Arthur S. Holloway

Arthur writes romances that follow a choice all the way through.

Everything connects to something.

I love stories about betraying the world that made you for one person. I’m always looking for the relationship that makes every other loyalty negotiable—the moment one person becomes impossible to price. I write those stories as romances. My characters sign blank checks.

That relationship is where I begin. I build outward: the circumstances that put the choice in front of them, the world that makes those circumstances possible, and everything the betrayal changes afterward. Its rules, institutions, history, and geography all have to matter. Nothing gets to be cardboard.
